A new quarterly magazine, Wildstar Forest, will release its first issue in January 2014.  General submissions are being accepted at this time, and advertising information will be available shortly.

 

Wildstar Forest is a magazine trying to bridge the gap between the Paganism and witchcraft 101 magazines available, and the highly academic publications. We are aiming for something accessible to the average pagan/witch/conjuror, that while providing information beyond the basics available already, are not so lofty in words as the academic texts.

 

Covering the range from daily craft living, witchcraft lore, herbal and crystal magic, dream working and beyond, Wildstar Forest will become your go-to learning manual, bringing you in depth articles that inspire, educate and further the path you tread.

Submissions and applications are being taken via email at groveofthewildstars@gmail.com. Accepted contributions will be compensated at $30 per article. No poetry or fiction is being accepted at this stage.

 

General submissions can be on any topic involving witchcraft, conjuring, spirit work, dream workings, herbal and crystal magics, deity worship, tradition specific magick and much more. General submission articles need to be 700-1000 words in length. Please include a short bio of yourself at the end of the article, max 25 words. Your bio can include links to your blog or other page if desired.

 

A copyright release form will be required to be signed and emailed back to the editor prior to the submission deadline. All published articles remain the property of Wildstar Forest magazine for a period of 12 months from date of printing. Full author credit will be published.
